I am sure by now many of you have heard of or read the Robert Mueller report. Some of you may have listened to his press conference statements. He said there was no evidence of collusion. Also stated was the fact that there was insufficient evidence of obstruction. He essentially said there was no guilty charges.

Of course, this has been thrown into a frenzy by part of the Democratic Party and even some Republicans along with the mainstream media. They are saying that since there was insufficient evidence to exonerate, there must be evidence to charge. Yet, no evidence means no evidence. Without evidence there are no charges.

Romans 8.1 “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” verse 4 “….in order that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”

When we received Jesus Christ into our lives as our Lord, Savior and guarantee of salvation, we did so by faith and not by works of keeping the law. Jesus has paid the price for our sin, fulfilled the law, and by faith we have been set free from all condemnation. 2 Corinthians 5.17 “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things have passed away, new things have come.” We have been made brand new in Jesus! The old things are gone, sin is washed in the blood of Jesus. Very simply put, no evidence and no condemnation.

The devil continually looks for evidence of our sin. He cannot find any, so he sets out to make things up, tries to set us up, tries to convict us and condemn us. But we are blood bought and blood washed. We are brand new. Even at times we may fall and stumble, the Holy Spirit has revealed to us the way of escape. 1 John 1.9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Did you catch that? If we confess, admit and acknowledge our wrongdoing, He is faithful and righteous to forgive. Why? Because His blood was already shed and paid the price for our sin. Then it says He cleanses us of all unrighteousness. Even the sin we are not aware of, He will cleanse us of it. This means He brings us back to the place of total cleansing on the day of our salvation. Wow!

With all the Lord has provided and prepared for us, the shedding of His blood, the cleansing of our sin, we can boldly declare there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus!! So, the devil may try to stir up things. He may try to convict us of our shortcomings. But there is no evidence and there are no charges! We are redeemed!
