Dear Friends,
I am thinking of the times Pastor Nid, and I were in Chiang Mai, Thailand. We did a total of 4 years of ministers’ conferences with Terry Mize. Two of those years were also with Pastor Datha Thomas and Dennis Burke. The meetings were very successful with the Thai pastors, their excitement to hear the Word of God, and also their heartfelt thanks for our coming. The first year there was about 600 ministers, and it grew to over 1000. We also taught students in the Chiang Mai Bible School. I cannot help but turn my thoughts towards you, because many of you were a part of making these things possible.
I would like to, first of all, say thank you to all of you. Thank you for allowing us to go to the world. Thank you for being a part of touching the nations through your tithes and offerings. New Life Family Worship has a worldwide vision, and you are a vital part of this reality.
As a local Body we are reaching around the world through partnership with Living Word Ministries, Dennis Burke, Rick Renner, Mercy Ministries, Terry Mize, ICFM, Disabled Vets. We are reaching into the former Soviet Union from Moscow to Ukraine, Thailand, Romania, Cuba, etc. We are supporting mass crusades, training pastors to reach their nations, supporting orphans, reaching the elderly of the world, helping to see addicted and abused women reach freedom. There are also other things too numerous to mention. You are a blessing to the world. We also help locally through the Salvation Army and Harry Chapin Food Bank. All of this is possible because of your giving.
Just like God’s promise to Abraham, He said, ‘I will bless you and you shall be a blessing.’
You are a modern day example of the reality of this promise. I have seen many of you grow in response to the Word of God and have seen your life increase as a result. I also see that you do not wish to hold all of it and keep it to yourself, but with your increase comes the maturity of being a blessing to others.
Luke 6:33 “If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.” You have so readily given yourself to the Lord in giving to the nations. These are people that you do not know; they have never had opportunity to do good to you, but yet you readily desire to be a blessing to them. That is credit to your account. Therefore, not only do I say thank you to you, but more importantly, God says thank you! Then Luke says in verse 38, “Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.” There is more blessing coming because God can trust you with what He has given you. By your standard is the measure coming back to you. You set the measure, the amount of blessing, the size of the container that will be overflowing back to you. WOW!!! How powerful is that!!!
You had freely sent us to Thailand, as you had sent us to Venezuela, to Ukraine, and to states in our own nation, to be a blessing to the people there. We are your seed sown, beside the financial and prayerful seed you have sown!! When you sow goodness, then goodness comes back to you. When you sow love, then love comes back to you. When you sow prayer, then prayer is sown for you. When you sow finances, then finances are coming back to you. 2 Corinthians 9.8 “God is able to make ALL grace abound to you…” Glory to God!! We need all of these things in our life. We can’t have finances without God’s goodness, love, and prayer made on our behalf.
Our seed goes before us and prepares our future. The future that is set today can be rearranged by the seed we sow, in any area. (Read Luke 6. There are so many areas we can sow seed) Sowing all manner of seed is our lifestyle especially as a believer. Pastor Bob
